Flu Season is Here!

This year, Marble Works Pharmacy will be dispensing the quadrivalent flu vaccine, formulated to protect against four virus strains rather than the typical trivalent or three strain vaccine.  All of our pharmacists are certified immunizers, and again this year we will be offering our flu shots with no appointment needed, at $30.00 each.

Attention Business Owners!  Here are 2 ways you can help your employees stay healthy and save money this flu season:

1) Host an onsite flu clinic.

Minimize downtime and help your employees stay healthier this winter by making their health a priority now.  Simply call us at the number shown below to schedule a convenient, onsite flu clinic.   One of our pharmacists will come to your location, bringing all needed supplies, educational materials and consent forms.  Discounts are available for groups booked in advance, so call today!

2) Sign your employees up to get their shots at any Marble Works Pharmacy location.

Do your employees work varied schedules? Perhaps you don’t have enough space or just want to avoid any workday disruption?  Why not sign your employee group up to stop into one of our three locations in Bristol, Middlebury or Vergennes to get their flu shot?  You will have the peace of mind of knowing they’re protected, they will have the convenience of choosing when and where to get their shots.  Discounts are available for groups booked in advance, so call today!

Ready to book or have questions?  You can reach us at 802.458.3100.  Call today!

Your employee flu shots can be billed directly to you, allowing you to take advantage of our “local business” discount, or they can be billed directly to the employee’s insurance.

*The CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every season. This recommendation has been in place since February 24, 2010 when CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted for “universal” flu vaccination in the United States to expand protection against the flu to more people.
